2024
Embedded within the festival and on the streets of Narrowsburg, 2024 channels Orwell’s newspeak in an attractive campaign devoid of context. This series of poetic works and imagined documentation is created by Seth Indigo Carnes and co-curated as an intervention by Rodney Harder and Seth Indigo Carnes.

Seth Indigo Carnes
Seth Indigo Carnes, aka [sic], is a visual artist with a practice led by concept and process. His projects traverse physical and digital media, material and immaterial states, and the human experience within this flux. His ongoing project, Poetics, is a visual poetry app in use across the world and for his experiments in contemporary poetics. [sic]’s past collaborations include work with Paul Miller (DJ Spooky), Shepard Fairey, Thierry Geoffrey, David Ellis, and Simona Blat. He is currently based in Roscoe and Brooklyn.

Rodney Harder
Rodney Harder is a curator and visual artist. He has co-curated an exhibition at Sherman Gallery, Boston University and the Laundry King Gallery in Livingston Manor NY. Harder’s artist work was featured most recently at council street gallery in Los Angeles, in a solo show curated by Charles Gaines. Kent Young the gallery director said of his work ‘There is nothing inevitable about this work. Questions guide the practice.’ His work has also been shown at the Berkeley Art Museum and in group and solo shows internationally. He is currently based in Cooks Fall and New York City.
