Stories as Survival: Truth, Memory, and Fiction

What does it mean to exist in between two worlds? Award-winning author Rex Ogle (Free Lunch, Punching Bag) and debut novelist Rob Franklin (Great Black Hope) join us for a sharp, unflinching discussion about writing honest coming of age stories while expanding our understanding of race, class and queer identity. Whether in memoir or fiction form, this is storytelling as a survival tool: raw, necessary, and deeply real. The conversation will be lead by Ahu Terzi.
