Tim Bruno of WJFF Radio Catskill leads a podcasting workshop for middle and high school students. Learn the fundamentals of what makes a fresh story, crafting a narrative, and creating a pitch. Award winning podcaster and journalist Ilya Marritz will be on hand to discuss his process and ground the class in some of the basics of investigative reporting.

Tim Bruno has been General Manager of WJFF Radio Catskill, public radio for The Catskills and Northeast Pennsylvania, since September 2020.
His previous work experience included production and senior management positions in New York City with NBC.
Ilya Marritz
Ilya Marritz covers democracy for ProPublica and Trump Legal matters for NPR. In the fall of 2023, he will be a fellow of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University. He co-hosted the podcasts “Will Be Wild” about the January 6 Capitol riots, and the duPont silver baton-winning “Trump, Inc.”
