Jonathan Wells

The Sterns Are Listening, the debut novel by acclaimed American poet Jonathan Wells was hailed by The Guardian as “a tight and taut family drama,” and by Forbes as “a deeply felt, richly detailed, and imaginatively conceived literary novel that would be comic if there wasn’t serious darkness at its core.” Wells' 2021 memoir, The Skinny, about growing up in suburban New York in the ’70s and ’80s in an era of toxic masculinity, won comparisons to Tobias Wolf’s This Boy’s Life. Wells will be in conversation with Jesse Sposato.

Presented in association with the DVAA and Radio Catskill.
